I was less than a mile into my nine mile run when I heard thunder. I looked over my shoulder and saw that, yes, there was a storm front on the way. I dithered for a while, then decided to just finish the first three mile loop and call it a day. The lightning didn't seem particularly near, but, as a commenter to
this post points out, you can get killed by the first bolt of lightning just as easily as by the last. Anyway, I plan to finish the nine miles tomorrow, rather than take the day off.
