I first ran into
Frank in Trenton, and I guessed then that we would meet again. He is visiting the state capitols the old fashioned way.
I ran outside today, in spite of the cold weather. First thing in the morning, it was kind of misting out, and I didn't go. But by midmorning, that had stopped, and I went out around 10:30. It was cold and really windy, but I made about 4.4 miles. I'm happy with that.

Hi, Mr. Jogger.
I'm a fellow jogger and teacher (college English), so I thought I'd say hello.
I feel the same way you do about jogging in cold weather. In the spring and summer, I love to run outdoors; it's preferable. However, the cold weather kills my lungs and makes my nose run faster than my legs! So in the winter, I run on a treadmill.

Hey, thanks for stopping by. I laughed when I read about your nose running faster than your legs. Do Nordic skiers not have this problem?
I've tried a treadmill, but given a choice, I prefer the indoor track. I'm hoping that soon the weather will take a final lunge into spring, and I'll only have to go indoors when it rains.
