Day 414 -- Silver Plume, Colorado

Thanks to WesternMiningHistory.com, there are lots of good pictures of Silver Plume, Colorado on the web. I'm not sure why I picked this church and this store. The peak population in Silver Plume was about 2000 people, but now they are down to only about 200, so I'm afraid a lot of these buildings are abandoned. The store still seems to be active, though.

I ran eight miles today, in wicked humidity. I swear that my clothes wouldn't have been wetter if I'd taken a dip in the pool. Nonetheless, I made decent time, and I feel OK, now. I can't wait for the weather to break, but there's no break in the forecast.
