I haven't been paying attention to my surroundings. I've been looking for towns to visit, and missing the fact that I'm running right through Escanaba State Forest. According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the State Forest has over 100 miles of roads. And this is one of them.
Not a bad run this morning. I was supposed to do six, but I just got out and ran for a while, and it turned out to be 5.5. That's OK. With a 20 miler looming on Sunday, I don't need to kill myself on Friday.
