At the north end of Escanaba State Forest is the town of Escanaba. Their web site describes them as "The Heart of Upper Michigan". And they wouldn't lie about something like that, would they? This boardwalk photo is from TravelPod.com. Mrs. Jogger suggests that this may not be the best view of the woman closest to the camera.
I ran another 5.5 miles today. Today's schedule said five, and it occurred to me that 5.5 yesterday and 5.5 today was the same as 6 yesterday and 5 today. We'll see tomorrow whether that was a mistake.
