Day 539 - Beowawe

Thanks to Bryan's Public Gallery, I have a photo of the exit to Beowawe, which is about where I am, now. According to the Elko Rose Garden site:
Beowawe is pronounced Bay-o-wah'-wee and is an Indian word meaning "gate" - so named for the peculiar shape of the hills close to town which gives the effect of a gateway opening to the valley beyond.

They also say that the church is for sale for $11,000, which includes the building, well, and land. Sounds like a deal, if you don't mind worshiping out in the middle of nowhere.

I ran just three miles today, still trying to get my legs broken in. It was a good three miles, though, at a decent pace.
