I overslept. It's as simple as that. And the promised storm passed south of us, so the Little Joggers' schools didn't cancel or even delay. So I had to help deliver them, and never had time to run. I suppose that it's just as well that I'm resting my foot.
In other news, the University System of which my school is a part is developing a document addressing how system campuses should act to increase diversity in the student body and faculty. Apparently, we are going to "identify critical leverage points for broader engagement and accountability to achieve excellence.*" That ought to do it.
*One of the faculty senators actually asked "Did Dilbert's boss write this?"
