First off, Day 550 was yesterday. I did get out and run a little over three miles in the morning. I meant to do four, but my foot was still hurting.
So, I went to a doctor, and they took X-rays of my foot, which were negative. I'm pretty sure the doctor suspected a stress fracture, too, so we were both relieved that it wasn't. So her prescription was anti-inflammatories, ice, and rest. OK, I can do that.
This morning, I did 25 minutes on the stationary bike, and 20 minutes on the rowing machine. I figured neither of those was a high-impact exercise. It felt good to get exercise, but it's not the same as running. I'll be happy to get this behind me and start running again.
