Math Geek Jokes

We are hiring in our department, and last night a bunch of us took a candidate out to eat. Since we were going to the Mexican restaurant, Mrs. Jogger tagged along. It was the closest thing to a date we've had in months.

At one point, one of my colleagues suggested that "N-category theory is for people who think that category theory is too useful." Everybody laughed but Mrs. Jogger. I wonder why that was?
