I'm about ten miles west of West Branch, Michigan, and the map shows a "Pointers Hill". Not a town named Pointers Hill, but a hill named Pointers Hill. Searching for it on Google images, I managed to find the Pointer Hill Saddlery, with a West Branch address. Maybe it's out this way, or maybe not.
Today was the second Family Fitness Fun Run organized by the local public schools. It wasn't a really big race. Just a friendly 5K. I certainly didn't try to set the world on fire, but I still came within 13 seconds of my time at the same race last year. It was a great day for it.
